Corporations are people, accept it or fight it at your own peril . The failure of the modern environmental movement is not that they can't see where nature begins, what is cleaner than dirty, but, how do you convince those people waiting for saved retirement that you have their backs?
Its all about culling(killing off) the population so bambi can run free.

Replacing national regulations with local regulations is not enough. The implication is that local regulations will be bans, whether of fossil fuel extraction, factory farming, mining, or other threats to the environment. No amount of regulation at any level is going to compensate for the market failure created at federal and state levels with subsidies. Until subsidized depletion and pollution of the natural world is replaced with rising depletion and pollution charges, the degradation of nature will freely continue with no incentive for a sustainability correction.
Thank you Thomas Linzey for the most powerful indictment of the Big Green groups' collusion with government regulatory agencies. Big Green is working FOR "the man" on how best to regulate the fossil fuel industries. NOT how best to get rid of fossil fuel industries on behalf of the citizens of this country. A beautifully written article that should be read by every activist in the USA. And the fact that just last week the Ohio court ruled that towns/villages/cities in Ohio do not have the right to ban fracking or gas pipelines sends an ominous message to those of us who want to do just that in our states.
Do we need help? Yes we do. Community RIghts over Corporate Power.
