The article touches on many keen issues that need debate. Why do public servants think they need such large pensions - they want 75% of their pay for 30 - 40 years; the annuity tables do not support this. Pensions are suppose to be fully funded when one leaves service or it is a tax on the next generation. Most people on social security live on less than $2k per month and their homes are paid for and they travel less after age 70 - what is enough?
I am very pleased to see students interested and involved- makes you wonder why we let our research institutions graduate so many in sociology, psychology, poli sci, english, literature, etc. They actually went to watch sports and drink and now they are awakening. Another good thing about OWS and activism is that the young folk are wasting less time on video games.
