It's the morning after Election Day, the Armageddon-for-Obama the media have been predicting since about five months after the president took office. And it was indeed a Republican sweep, especially in the House. Now, brace yourselves for endless, often utterly unfounded speculation about what this [RETURN TO ARTICLE]

Great article, crazy place America for elections! It seems that money and marketing both above and below the line count for more than integrity. Shame.

yeah, the crazy people that were roundly rejected are…. you! Progressives/liberals are the reason for the shellacking. you want to celebrate that a certain number of tea party candidates lost? boy is that pathetic. as you keep losing seats and power via your arrogant assumptiveness, we’ll be here smiling. it must be so nice to know that you’re always the smartest person in the room….
not.

Dear Ms Douglas,
Apparently the irony of claiming that crazy people and political illiterates were rejected by the voters while touting the victories of Reid and Boxer is lost on you. Perhaps poor Mr. Obama’s lack of humour has permeated his few remaining followers.

Yeah sure, douglas, if you say so. AX me if 80% of us americans give a dang about what Leftists think about their party’s debacle.
And unless a miracle occurs, OR you folks unleash election stealers (!) such as ACCORN and they succeed, Palin is going to crush Obama in 2012. Unless you folks come to your senses and drop the whole socialist/fascist project. And of course, sarah’s scared little LFTIST detractors *are* indeed, “puppy-kicking, chain-smoking porn producers.”

Let’s see, candidate Obama promised the end of Guantanamo, secret prisons, the two wars we can’t afford, Wall Street reform, etc. None of which happened.
Only two men were arrested for financial crimes, both were acquitted. Probably by bench, not jury, trials.
No wonder people who elected him didn’t vote at all this time.
