Mackenzie Feldman and John Ikerd
Mackenzie Feldman graduated from UC Berkeley in Spring 2018 with a degree in Society and Environment and a minor in Food Systems. Mackenzie is the Founder and Executive Director of Herbicide-Free Campus, a Food Sovereignty Research Assistant for the FAO and a Food Research Fellow for Data For Progress.
John Ikerd was raised on a small dairy farm in southwest Missouri. After working in private industry, he spent 30 years in various professorial positions at North Carolina State University, Oklahoma State University, University of Georgia and the University of Missouri before retiring in early 2000. He now spends most of his time writing and speaking on issues related to sustainability with an emphasis on economics and agriculture. He lives in Fairfield, Iowa.
