Studs--- I'm so glad you are writing your memoirs, and I very much look forward to it! I started reading your books when I was a teenager, "Working" was the first book I read, and I've been reading your stuff ever since...that's a...few years, to say the least. Hearing you on your show on WFMT was always such a delight! You have truely left a legacy Studs....would it be so that your works be required reading of....everybody. Perhaps, just perhaps, we might not be in such a mess as this country currently is in. You are a treasure Studs.....and I thank …

Born in Topeka, Kansas, brought home to Chicago at 2 months, stayed there until I was 10, raised by a single Mother, moved between Chicago and San Francisco for several years before settling down myself in the N.W. ‘burbs of Chicago.
Married now for nearly 30 years, have two great sons (both in their mid twenties), and now live in the East Bay of San Francisco, been here for 12 years now.
I’ve been an eclectic soul for quite some time now, have had several jobs until I had knee surgery 3 years ago, and have been semi-retired since that time. Always interested in politics of the left kind, and further left. Get discouraged and mad as hell with this current administration, yet, I have hope that this world will get better.
