It is very self-serving and incorrect for leftist feminists to view it as dividing women into those seeking just to get votes and women in office versus those concerned about progressive social causes. You accurately describe the split between Anthony, Paul and other suffrage feminists versus those involved in the "Woman's Christian Temperance Union, settlement houses, women's clubs and the YWCA."
