Ways to Fight Unionbusting

By Erin Polgreen
If you've read Art Levine's article Unionbusting Confidential, and wanted to know what you could do to protect working Americans, here are some resources that will tell you what you need to know about unionbusting and how to support the Employee Free Choice Act. The Employee Free Choice Act would create a level playing field for workers seeking to form a union and strengthens penalties against employers who violate workers' organizing rights.

The only way to help the Employee Free Choice Act is to encourage Democrats to compromise with Republicans and pass the increases on penalties for enforcement of the current law, and remove the changes in law to which the Republican’s so vehemently object, namely requiring companies to accept the results of a majority signature card organizing drive.
Putting economic teeth in the violations of Labor Law would critically wound the Union busters, as it would be more economical to simply negotiate with employees rather than pay for an expensive union buster, and then paying even more expensive fines.
Requiring the “card check” provision is a bridge too far.  It’s time for incremental labor reform to aid all Americans who simply believe in the enforcement of the laws that helped make America great.

Union Busting was a major step in breaking the backs of American Workers, so The Powers That Be could start kicking in their massive plans, for Global Village.
Outsourcing Our Work, Corporations moving to other countries due to the tax laws here in America, and the break up of the Unions, was just the beginning. Then The Patriot Act…it is all Writing On The Wall…NOT TO MENTION THE MASS AMOUNT OF AMERICA THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THE U.N….urrrr…and…The North American Trade Act…omg…
Unions Will Never Be What They Once Were, until we get the NWO thought out of the heads of men…

I work at Narrow boat holidays and unfortunately I was contacted by the union regarding our payment increase. Of course, the union took no action regarding this because of the Union Busting. I’m sorry I get the same paycheck as some of the older workers here…
