Anya began working with the Center for Rural Strategies in 2020 as a Rural Reporting Fellow. After graduating from Swarthmore College in 2022, she rejoined the team as a staff writer and multimedia producer for the Daily Yonder. Anya reports on a range of topics, from prisons to popular culture, and helps out with the Yonder Report, Rural Remix podcasts and the Good, Bad, and the Elegy newsletter.
