Bianca Xunise, Jen Sorensen, Eli Valley and Tom Tomorrow




Bianca Xunise is an illustrator, writer and educator based out of Chicago. In 2020, Bianca became the first nationally syndicated nonbinary cartoonist. With two Ignatz Awards under their belt, Bianca hopes their comics are comforting to those who feel like they don’t fit in.
Jen Sorensen is a cartoonist for Daily Kos, The Nation, In These Times, Politico and other publications throughout the US. She received the 2023 Berryman Award for Editorial Cartooning from the National Press Foundation, and is a recipient of the 2014 Herblock Prize and a 2013 Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award. She is also a Pulitzer Finalist.
Eli Valley is a writer and artist whose work has been featured in The Nation, The New Republic, The Village Voice, The Nib, The Guardian, The Daily Beast, Gawker and elsewhere. The 2011 - 2013 Artist in Residence at The Forward newspaper, his art has been labeled “ferociously repugnant” by Commentary and “hilarious” by The Comics Journal. Tom Tomorrow (Dan Perkins) is the creator of This Modern World, a weekly cartoon of political and social satire which has been a mainstay of the alternative press for more than two and a half decades. His work has also appeared in publications including The New York Times, the New Yorker, Esquire, Spin, Mother Jones, US News and World Report, the Economist, and many others. He is a two-time recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award, the 2013 recipient of the prestigious Herblock Prize for editorial cartooning, and a 2015 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
