Schneider joined the staff of In These Times in 2005, as assistant to the publisher. She became assistant publisher in early 2006, later becoming associate publisher.
Prior to working at In These Times, Schneider attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned undergraduate degrees in journalism and history.
