Candace Clement is a program coordinator for Free Press, a national organization working to reform the media, where she writes frequently about policy, activism, and public media. She also co-hosts the weekly Media Minutes radio show. Prior to Free Press, Clement worked extensively with her local community radio station, Valley Free Radio. She spends her ​“free” time playing guitar and singing in an indie-rock band that values and loves independent media.
