Elena Bruess is a writer and multimedia journalist covering the intersection of health, environment and human rights. She is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism, where she was awarded the Comer Scholarship of Environmental Storytelling and received the 2020 Pulitzer Post-Graduate Fellowship.
