Juli­et B. Schor is a Pro­fes­sor of Soci­ol­o­gy at Boston Col­lege and Mati­na S. Horner Dis­tin­guished Vis­it­ing Pro­fes­sor 2014 – 15 at Rad­cliffe Insti­tute for Advanced Study in Har­vard Uni­ver­si­ty. She co-found­ed the Cen­ter for the New Amer­i­can Dream and stud­ies trends in work­ing time, con­sumerism, work and fam­i­ly, women issues and eco­nom­ic jus­tice. Her lat­est book is Plen­i­tude: The New Eco­nom­ics of True Wealth (Pen­guin, 2010)
