Kaolin Sewell is a content editor and reporter for the Midwest Center for Investigative Reporting. She grew up in the Chicago suburbs away from farmland and agriculture but is excited to gain a new perspective in her reporting. Kaolin recently graduated from The University of Illinois and received her master’s degree in journalism from the College of Media. At Illinois, she was the executive producer for Good Morning Illini, a student-run morning show and worked for the Daily Illini, student newspaper, creating student guides for various University events.
