Sarah Newell is the Director of Transnational Strategies for the Worker-Driven Social Responsibility Network, an anchored network of Partners for Dignity and Rights.
Prior to joining the WSR Network staff, Sarah was Communications and Campaign Coordinator for the International Labor Rights Forum (ILRF), a human rights organization dedicated to advancing dignity and justice for workers in the global economy. While at the ILRF, they campaigned in support of Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh, a legally-binding agreement between workers and apparel brands to make factories safe. In addition, Sarah worked as a union organizer with SEIU Healthcare Pennsylvania, and later the American Association of University Professors. They are a graduate of the University of Southern California.
