Steve Fake grew up in east­ern Penn­syl­va­nia and grad­u­at­ed from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Pitts­burgh. He became inter­est­ed in rad­i­cal pol­i­tics after see­ing Good Will Hunt­ing, where he first heard of Howard Zinn and Noam Chom­sky. He lives and works in Boston.

Kevin Funk, a native of York, Pa., grad­u­at­ed from the Uni­ver­si­ty of Pitts­burgh with degrees in polit­i­cal sci­ence and jour­nal­ism. He is cur­rent­ly based in Chile.
