Steve Fake grew up in eastern Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. He became interested in radical politics after seeing Good Will Hunting, where he first heard of Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky. He lives and works in Boston.
Kevin Funk, a native of York, Pa., graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with degrees in political science and journalism. He is currently based in Chile. Fake and Funk co-authored Scramble For Africa: Darfur-Intervention and the USA. Their commentaries can be found at www.scrambleforafrica.org.
