Stuart Anderson, a U.S. Navy veteran, holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He began teaching mathematics at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Ill, when it opened in 1967, and retired in 2005.
