In just three short days Bitch magazine has announced that they have exceeded their $40,000 fundraising goal they needed to achieve in order to continue publishing. On Monday the unequaled feminist magazine announced that due to the spiraling economy and the pecuniary hurdles facing independent print media today (challenges In These Times knows well and is currently fighting tooth and nail to surmount), they were facing extinction if they couldn't raise the amount of money it costs them to print their upcoming December issue. Since then a massive outpouring of donations and support has kept the magazine afloat and in the business of providing you with a feminist perspective you won't find anywhere else. Simply extraordinary.
