Virginia State Bar Urged to Release Documents Explaining Arrest Warrants for George Felix Allen

Brian Zick

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee today asked the Virginia State Bar to release George Allen’s bar application from the late 1970s. The application is believed to detail reasons why arrest warrants were issued for Allen in 1974. Allen's campaign has stated the reason was unpaid parking tickets, but has refused to make records available for independent verification. John at AMERICAblog has posted a copy of the DSCC letter.
