For information, go to April10.org A coalition of immigrant, labor, faith, civil rights and business community groups have initiated a National Day of Action. There is a major rally in Washington, DC, and several associated events in cities across the nation. Check here for event times and locations. The goal is to stop anti-immigrant legislation from becoming law, and to pass genuinely useful comprehensive immigration reform that provides a clear path to citizenship, that unites families, and that ensures workplace and civil rights protections for all. update: SusanG at dailykos reports on a number of Sunday's events. update2: atrios has pictures from today's rally in Philly's Love Park. update3: John Aravosis is asking for people to send him photos, from the events they've attended, to post at AMERICAblog. .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) //= 0; i=i-1){ if (l.substring(0, 1) == ' ') output += "&#"+unescape(l.substring(1))+";"; else output += unescape(l); } document.getElementById('eeEncEmail_EBBg2ffKM8').innerHTML = output; //]]> update4: C-SPAN streaming the DC rally live online at 4PM (ET)
