Bartlett Takes a Hike

Michael Fletcher for WaPo reports: White House counselor Dan Bartlett, one of President Bush's top aides and among his longest serving, said today he will resign in July, becoming the latest administration official to leave as the president moves into his final year and a half in office. (…) Bartlett becomes the latest in a string of top Bush administration officials to leave, including deputy national security adviser J.D. Crouch II, who helped spearhead the recent policy review that led President Bush to send more U.S. troops to Iraq, and Sara Taylor, the White House political director.
