Bush Threatens Veto

Yes, a veto of stem-cell research, the one area of significant Republican and Democrat and broad public agreement is the one thing Bush feels an imperative to reject with his first ever veto. John Aloysius Farrell for the Denver Post reports: "President Bush will likely cast the first veto of his presidency if the Senate, as expected, passes legislation to expand federal funding of embryonic stem-cell research, White House aide Karl Rove said today." via Steve Soto
