David Corn compared Bob Woodward's account (written in his book Plan of Attack) of the January 31, 2003, Bush/Blair pre-war meeting with a memo written by David Manning, Blair's chief foreign policy advisor, who was actually in the room.
It appears that all of Woodward's vaunted "insider access" ultimately served to produce a handsome little work of fiction.
