The 35 Percenters, named after the amount of registered voters that know who Dennis Kucinich is, made this parody accusing the complacent media of spending more time on the physical attributes of candidates than where they stand on the issues.
Kucinich, still too liberal for the mainstream, is the only Democratic candidate to have a consistent voting record on key issues. While other Democratic candidates vying for the presidency have waffled in their opposition to the war in Iraq, Kucinich has consistently condemned it. Furthermore, he's the only candidate to specifically endorse a universal single-payer healthcare bill, HR-676. In spite of all this, Kucinich isn’t surprised he’s behind in the polls, and he isn’t changing his opinions to get media support. Listen to what Kucinich and Jeff Cohen, the founder of FAIR, Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting, have to say about the media's negligence.
