Senate Votes To Make The Word "Taco" Illegal On Menus In Capitol Cafeteria
Well, that's the effect indirectly, since a menu in the Capitol cafeteria is a "federal communication."
Jonathan Weisman and Jim VandeHei for WaPo report the "Senate yesterday voted to make English the "national language" of the United States., declaring that no one has a right to federal communications or services in a language other than English except for those already guaranteed by law."
"Senate Minority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) called the amendment "racist," and Sen. Ken Salazar (D-Colo.) dismissed it as divisive and anti-American."
