Sandra Day O’Connor v Orrin Hatch, John Cornyn, Charles Grassley, James Sensenbrenner, et al

Brian Zick

CourtTV's Catherine Crier interviewed Sandy O'Connor at George Washington University on Thursday, and asked the retired Justice about Republican attacks on the courts. In reply O'Connor drew a parallel with criticism of the Warren Court's decision in Brown v Board of Education. She additionally derided the term "activist judges" and lectured Republican critics on what it means to have an independent judiciary. Video clip on PoliticsTV. via Tracy Van Slyke
