Saturday Cartoon

Little Rural Riding Hood Another terrific Tex Avery cartoon Little Rural Riding Hood was made at MGM in 1949. It's regarded as one of the 50 best cartoons of all time by animation professionals and historians. The immaculate comedic timing, extremely exaggerated gag "takes" and not exactly subtle sexual innuendo (in a film created during the era of Hays Code censorship) all combine to make it a particularly memorable cartoon. Story: Rich Hogan, Jack Cosgriff Animation: Grant Simmons, Walter Clinton, Bob cannon, Michael Lah Music: Scott Bradley
