Senate Majority Leader Clinton?

Brian Zick

Steve Clemons reports that "Harry Reid May Ask Senator Clinton to Preempt Presidential Ambitions to Succeed Him as Senate Majority/Minority Leader" Clemons adds in an update: "Senator Reid's blog envoy -- though not his press office -- has called me this morning and asked that I post on this note that Senator Reid denies this case -- and denies it in the strongest possible sense. I respect Senator Reid greatly, but TWN will stand by the comments above for the time being as the sources involved are impeccable from my point of view." Too many Democrats - never mind Republicans - don't want to see a Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. But I dare say most of those same Democrats would love to see her as the Senate leader.
