Harkin Signs on to Censure Measure
Please tell Senator Harkin "thank you."

Let the good guys know we've got their back.
I wanted to vote for Tom Harkin in 1992, and in the early pre-primary season of 1991, I went to see a speech he gave down near LAX. He was really terrific. It was a pretty big Tom Harkin event - planned for several weeks beforehand, and featuring several prominent name guest speakers. Before Harkin spoke, he told the crowd to warmly welcome a mystery guest, who he had invited to speak as well, even though he wasn't on the program. And then he introduced Los Angeles Democrats to Bill Clinton.
