words in the news

Brian Zick

Atrios calls attention to a couple noteworthy "word" reports. FAIR reminds us what the Iraq War's "Pollyanna pundits" said. Gathered for your recollection is some of the most notable media verbiage from the early days of the Iraq War. -- and this from Pew Research Center (they got charts!!!): The single word most frequently associated with George W. Bush today is "incompetent," and close behind are two other increasingly mentioned descriptors: "idiot" and "liar." All three are mentioned far more often today than a year ago.
