Last Tuesday I made note of the pardon received by music producer Dallas Austin, who had been busted for possession of cocaine, convicted and sentenced to four years in a Dubai prison. Well, now, lookee here who got him off the hook (so to speak). Jeff Leeds and Sharon Waxman for the NY Times report the story, headlined "That's What Friends in High Places Are For."
