Singapore Air Quality Hits “Hazardous” Levels

Man-made fires in neighboring Indonesia used to clear lands for agriculture have caused air quality levels to skyrocket to a record high in Singapore. The Pollutant Standards Index has climbed to 371, far above the “hazardous” level of 300.
