Meet ITT’s Next Web Editor: Jessica Stites

Lindsay Beyerstein

I’m delighted to announce that In These Times has hired Jessica Stites to be our next web editor/associate editor.

I’ve known Jessica for a few years through feminist media circles. Last year, as associate editor at Ms., she assigned me my first national cover story.

At Ms., Jessica oversaw the creation of the magazine’s blog, which went on to be named one of the top 100 sites for women by Forbes magazine. She also presided over explosive growth in the magazine’s social media following, adding 30,000 Twitter followers and 25,000 Facebook fans.

In These Times will benefit from Jessica’s strategic vision, her exacting journalistic standards, her passion for social justice, her energy, and her wit. We are truly lucky to have her.
